New-moon stargazing
The clearest season of the year. We turn off the camp lights, wrap up in blankets and learn a few stars from the terrace.

Dawn walk to Dabao Temple
We set out in the dark and walk slowly up to Dabao Temple, arriving as the sun reaches the snow peaks.

Fireside after snow
An evening after snow: one hotpot, a room full of people, white mountains outside the window.
